Renee T Ormsby

Renee Ormsby is a current Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Brigham and Womens Hospital. She is currently researching the role of both osteoclasts and osteocytes in bone pathologies such as osteopetrosis, fibrous dysplasia and osteoarthritis, focusing on the role of coupling between bone formation and resorption. She completed her PhD from the University of Adelaide in 2019 where she focused on role of osteoyctes in periprosthetic osteolysis. She has been an active member of the ANZBMS since 2011, and was a member of the ANZBMS Early Career Investigator Council and is currently a member of the Editorial Board for the ANZBMS ECIC Newsletter.
